Who’s Gonna Take The Weight?

“Who’s gonna take the weight?” We may not hear this phrase & question as often as We once did; but, the Wisdom of this statement can still help Us to clear up some of Our current issues. To “take the weight” means to “take responsibility.” Thus, We see the relationship between the words “responsibility” & “weight.”
We also hear of people’s ability (or inability) to be able to “pull their own weight…” Again, ‘weight’ and ‘responsibility’ are directly related. This month We are speaking to You about Weight Loss. But, first, We must discuss Weight Gain – what brought about the excess Weight (responsibility) in the first place.

According to Dr. Jewel Pookrum, OverWeight is associated with a person who is carrying around excess emotional baggage. This person is suppressing their emotions in an attempt to conform the standards of the society they find themSelves in. This person is dealing with a world (environment) that discourages the presence & activity of their innermost Self. When We follow the suggestions of those who would rather We not Live – We pay with Our Life. And being Obese and OverWeight are just two manifestations of the larger issue.
A person can be OverWeight and not know it. All Obese persons are OverWeight; but not all OverWeight persons are Obese. Excess Waste in the system (Body) causes excess Weight in the system (Body). A “BodyBuilder” or Weight Trainer is a good example. This person may be very muscular and “toned”; but here is something for Us to look at…

The internal workings of the Body produce the outer functions, thereof. When the outer (Body) is held in greater importance than the inner (Body), a certain imbalance occurs. If the remote to the television ceases to function properly, We never think to wipe off the surface or to repaint the words and numbers on the buttons. In such cases, We, instead go directly to the inside (the batteries, wiring, etc.) to solve the problem.
Big muscles are a form of OverWeight, because the Inner Body is calibrated to handle a set amount of the weight of the Outer Body. A Healthy Child is a good example. When their Health is in a fair state, their Body Weight is perfectly distributed & proportioned. When We force OurSelves to be bigger than Nature would have Us to be, We make a problem for OurSelves. An obese (“fat”) person is not the only one OverWeight.

In order to lose the excess Weight (Naturally), We must lose Our artificial thoughts and actions. Dietetically speaking, Eating, Drinking & Fasting Naturally (With calm purpose & focus) will assist Us in losing that false Weight. When We lie (to Self – and consequently, to others) We throw Our Brain-Computer into error (because We have substituted Our Truth for FalseHood). (Example: 1+1=2. When We childishly want to have Our own way, if that way is not accurate, We will say, for instance: “I WANT 1+1 TO EQUAL 6!!!”.) When this happens, universal malfunction automatically follows. Our various capacities (Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Emotional, Astral, etc.) shut-down and We do not UnderStand Truth (because We have recalibrated OurSelf to FalseHood). We have made the False Thing more important than the Real Thing, so Reality then means nothing to Us (consciously or unconsciously). It becomes unimportant, and ignored.

Each of Us have an Inherent Beauty. But that Beauty is not going to be identical to the one on the television or in the magazine. In fact, these things can be (and are) used to keep Us from seeing this Inherent Beauty. To cultivate this Beauty (male or female) We must look to Our habits. In the books of How To Eat To Live, Messenger Elijah Muhammad demonstrates to Us how the characteristics of a Creature are directly related to it’s eating habits. There are several ways in which We eat (We eat through Our senses: i.e.; what We constantly listen to; how We constantly speak; what We look at / how We look at it, and so on). And each of these ways of eating is habitual.

To lose excess Weight, We must discipline OurSelves. We have to study Our Body & study Our Environment. For anyone wanting to lose Weight, I suggest serious study! Study the Human Anatomy, Study Wholistic Health, Study Nature. Losing Weight cannot be some program done for a few days (sweeping it under the rug) – or else that Weight (Responsibility) will come right back. That Weight & Responsibility will never leave, until We make an Active Commitment & Decision to Love & Appreciate Self (Responsibilty).
