Professor Grif

Professor Griff rose to fame as the “Minister Of Information” and leader of the S1W’s (Security of The First World) with the revolutionary rap group Public Enemy. Formed in 1986, Public Enemy blazed a new path for rap with its intense, aggressive sound and provocative lyrics.

After making three albums with Public Enemy, Griff formed his own group, Professor Griff and The Last Asiatic Disciples and signed to Luke (Skywalker) Records. Griff wrote, produced and recorded three powerful, thought-provoking albums of beats and rhymes for the label: “Pawns In The Game” (1990), “Kaoz II Wiz-7-Dome” (1991) and “Disturb N Tha Peace” (1992). Balogun Oyabode Abeegunde – Afrikan Martial Arts

He has written for various magazines on the topic of Afrikan martial arts and self-defense, including Ammo Magazine and Black Belt Magazine.Balogun Oyabode Abeegunde is Master Instructor and Director of the Afrikan Martial Arts Institute. As an actor, screenwriter and film producer, Balogun is featured in two documentaries on the African martial arts, the short film, “The Black Panther: Blood Ties”, the martial arts feature film, Champion Road and the feature film “Reynoldsâ€™ War, which he wrote, produced, starred in and choreographed. Finally, Balogun is the author of the history making how-to book, “Afrikan Martial Arts: Discovering the Warrior Within”.

Supreme Understanding is a community activist, educator, and expert on the socio-economical and psychological struggles of oppressed people. Supreme received his bachelor’s degree in world history from Morehouse College , followed by a master’s degree in urban education from Georgia State University . At 26, he received his doctorate in education from Argosy University, where he focused his research on the benefits of non-formal education with at-risk youth and disadvantaged populations.
