Save the Date: CAMP DIVA “Date with Dad Dance”
CAMP DIVA will host its annual “Date with Dad Dance” Sunday, March 15, 2009,
5 p.m. at ArtWorks, located at 320 Hull Street, Richmond, Virginia, 23224.
This dance gives girls all over the Richmond Metro area an opportunity to
dress up and participate in a fun night on the town with their dads. During
the event, there’ll be music, food, and games all centered on cultivating
healthy relationships between girls and their fathers. Last year’s games
included ‘How Well Do You Know Your Daughter/Father Pop Quiz,’ ‘Who Can Tie
Their Dad’s Tie The Fastest?’ and an ‘Old School/New School Dance Off.’ Our
goal is for the girls and their fathers to leave smiling, with memories for
a lifetime, as well as with a conversation that will continue beyond the
event, strengthening their relationship. The cost of the event is $20 per
couple in advance and $10 for each additional daughter. Tickets at the door
will be $25 for a couple and $12 for each additional daughter.
