Unless there is a blizzard, hurricane or tornado, then here is the place to be and the Brother to hear and see. He is one of the few pioneers who have not made the transition yet, who still walks amongst us in flesh and bone. So, Brothers and sisters go to get what you need and do not go alone. And it is FREE too. His Metu Neters I and II are profound I can only imagine this must be the icing or the candle on the cake.
I was very blessed to have known these great courageous and obedient to the call, Brothers. The following pioneers have made their transitions. So, if you did not meet them, nor Messenger Elijah Muhammad, nor Malcolm Shabazz, nor Noble Drew Ali, nor Marcus Garvey…Now is your chance to meet (3) Ra Un Nefer Amen who is the founder of the Ausar Auset Society, a Pan-African religious organization dedicated to providing Afrocentric based spiritual training to people of African descent. Trained originally as a concert pianist, composer, and music theoretician, Amen passed on opportunities in the music industry to devote time to the spiritual education and uplift of African people. His unique insight into the spiritual philosophies of various ancient civilizations has made him a well recognized and respected author on the subject of spiritual cultivation. He is a leading authority and publisher of works dealing with ancient Egypt (Kemet) and its spiritual and cultural foundation of traditional Africa.
(1) Oba Efuntola Oseijeman Adelabu Adefunmi I, a historic figure and the spiritual leader of western practitioners of the Yoruba faith and culture, passed away on Thursday, February 10th at Oyotunji African Village in Beaufort County, South Carolina. In the place that he founded 33 years ago for descendants of ancient Dahomean and Eweh people in the west to be able to practice what he called the rain forest version of the ancient Egyptian Mystery System,”Kabiesi” as he was affectionately called., had experienced declining health in recent years and died peacefully.
(2) Nana Dinizulu:
In 1965, the late Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu I, whose research had revealed to him that his ancestors came from Ghana, traveled to the Akonedi Shrine in Ghana for an oracular consultation, which was done by Okomfohemmaa Nana Akua Oparebea’s mother. Nana Dinizulu was directed to his ancestral home through divination. He was completely overwhelmed. He was initiated and upon his return brought to the USA, Nana Asuo Gyebi, Esi Ketewaa and Adade Kofi shrines. In 1967, he established the traditional African religious and cultural organization, Bosum Dzemawodzi in New York.
In 1971, the late Nana Dinizulu requested, received and established the Akonedi Shrine in the U.S.A. Nana Dinizulu was given the titles of Omanhene and Okomfohene of Akans in America, as he was the first to introduce Africans born in America (African Americans) to the Deities of Ghana, West Africa. He invited Okomfohemmaa Nana Akua Oparebea to visit the USA.
Now you have had you Black History Moment!
With all my love to my people and kin
