Within the hip-hop community, taj anwar is a pillar of strength. A catalyst for social change within and beyond her generation, anwar is one of today's most gifted leaders in both the political and entertainment worlds. She seamlessly parlays her popularity as a model and promoter into a vehicle to drive her message home to her peers in a language they understand. Recently, anwar was named by the APEX Society as one of Atlanta's Power 30 Under 30.

anwar currently serves as the National Coordinator of Mothers of Black/Brown Babies - a community ran organization she founded that does everything from providing emergency food baskets, communicating with incarcerated mothers to running an online support community. Under the guidance of respected activists Kalonji Jama Changa and Nkrumah Mau Mau Anpu, she is an active captain within the FTP Movement - an organization that works toward liberation of people of color- socially, economically and politically. She also is the Coordinator of Crew Love - a series of benefit parties designed to spread the message of change- such as signing petitions for political prisoners, to food drives, to campaigning against police violence in the community. She is also the partner and assistant to multi- platinum producer Nick FURY of New Jeru Entertainment.
